Archbishop Edward Yingling
Presiding Bishop
Bishop Yingling was in the Baltimore area, and was raised in the Methodist Church. In 2001, he converted to a local Lutheran Church after the Methodist Church closed its doors. He attended the University of Maryland, majoring in Business, graduating in 2009. Following the call of the church, he attended United Church's Seminary, graduating in 2012. He was ordained into the Office of Word and Sacrament in 2013. He served as an Associate Priest until the church called him to be the Bishop for the State of Maryland. He served as Bishop for the State of Maryland from 2018-2021 when the church closed its doors due to Covid-19 outbreak. He began working with an Independent Catholic Church to keep him in ministry which started him on the path to work with Bishop Sifford to create our church in February 2022. The Church officially began when Bishops Yingling and Sifford ordained (then) Deacon Riley on Easter morning of 2022. After several conversations, Bishop Sifford convinced Bishop Yingling to become the Presiding Bishop of the Church.
Jonathan T Bennett-Hughes
Auxiliary Bishop of the United Kingdom and it's Territories
I was born to loving parents in November 1977 in Sidcup. We lived in a townhouse, of course being of such a young age I do not remember this time. My first memories were when we lived in Kemsing near Sevenoaks, Kent. My parents owned a General Store called Graham's Groceries. (Named after my father)
I can remember my first day at the New Beacon Boarding School for Boys in September 1981. I stayed at New Beacon until I was 13 years of age. In 1990, after the divorce of my parents, I continued my education at Meopham Secondary School in September 1990. I remained at this school until my mother moved us down to Gosport. My education continued at Fareport Training Organisation in Gosport. Where I achieved GNVQ Level 2 qualifications in both Business Administration and Information Technology.
I later moved to Portsmouth where I started to attend an independent Catholic Church on Fratton Road, I quickly got involved in the worship group, where I assisted with leading prayers and helping to plan and deliver services. I was approached by the Clergy council and asked if I had considered training for the ordained life. I accepted my call to the ordained life and began my training with the Theology Unit, where I received my Bachelor's Degree. I was ordained as Deacon in 2000. A year later I was raised to the office of minister.
I later discovered the Old Catholic Fellowship Church International online. The Presiding Bishop was the Most Reverend Edward Woolridge, native of the Isle of Wight, who had moved to America to be with his now late husband. I was incardinated as Parish Priest of Emmaus Old Catholic Church in Chatham. Later I was raised to the office of Provincial Bishop for the United Kingdom.
Bishop Chase Sifford
Bishop of Maryland
Bishop Sifford is the head of the St. Alphonsus Seminary. He was born on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where he has stayed his whole life. He was raised in a United Methodist orientated family. When old enough he started to discover a new Christian place of worship. He went to the local Episcopal Church in Salisbury. He left because he was denied the sacrament for not being baptized. he went back to the United Methodist Church where he was more welcomed and eventually baptized. He felt his calling after a little girl was murdered on Christmas Eve near the small town neighborhood where he lived in 2009. He was ordained a Priest in February of 2014. He was consecrated a Bishop in the Catholic Faith on November 7, 2020. Since being with the Church, he has stuck with traditional Catholic values. He received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity in the field of Ministry Science in May of 2022. He comes to you all humbled, willing to serve, and to tend to Christ's flock.
Father Jason Rose
Pastor of Sts. Francis and Claire Parish
Deacon Jason was born and raised in Olive Hill, Kentucky. He was confirmed to the Catholic faith at the age of 14. He served as an altar boy and youth leader. He has always felt the calling to the religious life, but was unable to serve due to Roman Catholic Church rules. He continued to serve the Catholic faith as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, and many other volunteer positions. He was ordained to the Deaconate in May 2023 and to the Priesthood on September 9, 2023. He took his vows with the Order of Franciscan Friars on September 8, 2023. He strives to follow in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
Father Mario Luis Magana
Pastor St. Francis Mission - Orlando, FL
I feel very blessed to be a part of the United Temple of the Spirt and a small part of the Independent Sacramental Movement. To have the opportunity to serve God and His people in any capacity is what he has longed for since earliest childhood. I am a simple priest of God, a follower of the ways of Saint Francis and Saint Joseph, the blessed spouse of Our Lady. Living in Orlando Fl., Father's small (but mighty) mission 'Saint Francis Mission Church' is dedicated to assisting the most marginalized of our society, and those who have been hurt in the past by the Church. I live what I believe; that all humankind must follow the will of our Savior. Simply put: Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, give shelter to those in need, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned, and bury the dead. Knowing that every human can accomplish this in any way, any person can afford. It costs nothing to be kind. That is part of the beauty of Christ.
I have a special love of those who have been hurt by the Church, no matter what faith they may have come from. To be a welcoming presence and representative of our Lord Jesus. 'The world is my parish' is how father Mario operates. 'Without the constraints of being in a traditional 'brick and mortar' church, we are all more likely to encounter the people most in need of our compassion: those living on the streets or those living without Christ in their lives'. Anyone at all who wishes to, is always more than welcome to reach out to Father. If you're in Orlando, let me know, and perhaps meet up for a cup of coffee. And if you are somewhere else, the beauty of the internet is: that it's always open.
May the God of our fathers bless us, bring peace to this world, and prepare us for the next. Pray hard and pray every day. Amen.
Peace be with you; may God bless and keep you always near. +
